The Appeal
In much the same way as the GT6 was a high-performance version of the Triumph Spitfire, the Vitesse used the same 2.0-litre straight-six to enhance the Herald platform. Convertibles are desirable, and here we have a very fine and late 1970 example, equipped with the sought-after overdrive gearbox and larger 2 Litre engine.
Our car stands out for its originality and careful maintenance history, having been enjoyed by a total of just two registered keepers since new. Finished in the attractive and period colour of Sienna Brown with complementary beige interior, this Vitesse Convertible benefits from a recent mechanical overhaul totalling £921.60.
