A Unique Story: The Citroën BX 4 TC of Group B Rallying
The 1986 Citroën BX 4 TC represents one of the most fascinating and tragic chapters in Group B World Rally Championship history. Built to meet FIA homologation requirements, which mandated 200 road-legal units, this sports sedan boasted a 2. 2-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 200 hp, all-wheel drive, and a 5-speed manual gearbox that promised to revolutionize the sport. However, after disappointing results in the championship (with a sixth-place finish at the Swedish Rally as its best result), Citroën made the drastic decision to destroy 168 unsold units, turning the 62 survivors into true automotive relics.
We are putting up for sale this spectacular and unique Citroën BX 4 TC, currently the only one for sale of the 62 units that remain, or remained, in the world.
