This is my BMW E39 530i M Sport – a well loved example with no rust and great body work. Owned for a short time, completely dependent and will be given a full service before sale.
UK-supplied car from new and has covered just under 60k miles, which is incredibly low for an E39. Not modified mechanically, but now has a Eonon headunit for CarPlay, plus a Resler iBus interface behind it to provide daytime running lights and other modern comforts. All of the original wiring is intact and the car will come with the original tape deck and radio, with all hardware.
Exterior is in fantastic condition with no rust, and in Titan Silver Metallic.
Interior is in Montana Grey with heated seats, M leather steering wheel and anthracite headlining. The cabin is in great condition, feels solid and well made, as most BMW’s from the time do. Everything works as it should.
Engine is smooth and picks up very well for an older car, but it shines as a cruiser on long-distance journeys. Under the bonnet, in the boot and underneath, it’s just as clean and honest as the rest of the car.
Spec-wise, it’s nicely optioned with glass sunroof, heated seats, PDC parking sensors, automatic climate control, M Sport suspension and full M Sport styling.
The car was last serviced at 55, 000 miles and will now be given a full service immediately before sale (likely at Munich Legends).
EDIT: Major service now completed at DSR London at 60025 miles. Munich Legends was too far from me in London.
Photos of the car are from the dealer I purchased the car from, but have also included photos of the headunit.

SN6TT Leather Montana/ basic equip/ grauWhat sold the car to me, other than aesthetics and that I grew up pining over E39’s, is how original and well-kept it is. Low-mileage E39 530i M Sports are now extremely hard to come by, and many of the ones on the market have either been heavily modified, poorly repaired, or simply worn out. I have considered various upgrades and always found myself unwilling to harm the originality. The CarPlay and DRL’s mentioned above just help the car become more practical for modern use without changing anything about the drive, and as mentioned it will come with the original tape deck/ radio combo if you want to put it back as is.
The colour, interior wooden trim, straight six sound, solid build quality, all make you feel like you’re driving something well thought out. The only reason I’m selling is because I now need something newer for ULEZ reasons, and if money was no object, I’d happily keep it as a second car.
