I am the fourth owner of this 59 year old 1967 car. Starting in 2004 the previous keeper of the car carried out a five year restoration. It was completely rebuilt with photographs and corresponding documentation to prove. The car was completely stripped down and the body removed from the floor pan, completely stripped of paint and all body work and floor pan repairs carried out.
The engine and gearbox were stripped, checked over and rebuilt as was the suspension, brakes and steering. The interior was removed, seats and door panels recovered and new carpets fitted.
This is just a brief outline of the work carried out.
Presently the car is used on nice days and weekends. Mileage is showing 56941 however the mileometer stopped working a number of years ago. Overall the car is in very good solid condition with only some age related marks and blemishes bearing in mind the refurbishment was carried out 22 years ago.
